Breast Lift

Any woman who seeks a more lifted, “perky” and youthful appearance.  A lift will correct the position of the nipple, lift the breast tissue and remove lax skin

The Procedure

A Breast Lift lasts 2 to 3 hours to perform. The procedure repositions the nipple into a more youthful location, and tailor any loose or sagging skin. There are three incisions used to perform a lift depending on the distance the nipple needs to be lifted and the shape of your breast:

  • around the areola
  • the shape of a lollipop
  • an anchor

Areola Fix

Often due to pregnancy or having large breasts, the areola becomes wide. During a Breast Lift, the areola can be resized or reshaped to be in better proportion to your breast

Recovering

After the Breast Lift, your breasts will be wrapped in gauze dressings and you will be placed in a soft supportive bra.  You will wear this bra around the clock for your first month after surgery. 

Most patients require pain medication for the first few days and are able to return to work in a week.  You can start light exercise the next day and strenuous exercise in four weeks.  You may resume wearing a underwire bra in six weeks.

Adding Augmentation

In case of losing breast volume from pregnancy or weight loss, adding a small implant creates a foundation upon which to place your breast, plumping your cleavage line

Cleavage Line

An important goal of a Breast Lift is to reposition your breast tissue into the upper inner quadrant, recreating a stable, youthful cleavage line
